If you’ve been with me for a while, then you definitely know my love for honey-garlic-all-the-things. Ever since hitting publish on my Crock Pot Honey Garlic Chicken recipe, gazillion readers have asked for me to share a similar recipe, but with pork chops.

This recipe is an incredibly quick and delicious way to serve bone-in baked pork chops, and I can guarantee your whole family will love them. Seared until browned then baked (or grilled) in the most succulent honey garlic sauce, how could you not love them?!

Grab your pork chops plus some simple ingredients that you already have in your pantry, and let’s get this cooking party started.

HOW TO MAKE HONEY GARLIC BAKED PORK CHOPS

  • We start with making the honey garlic sauce, first, by combining honey, soy sauce, garlic, sweet chili sauce, ketchup and seasonings.
  • Next, we will pour that sauce over our chops, then heat up some oil in an oven safe frying pan.
  • Add the chops to the pan and cook just until browned on both sides; about 2 minutes per side.
  • Transfer the pork chops to a preheated oven and continue to cook for an additional 20 minutes, or until cooked through.

That sweet, gorgeous, saucy glaze – it makes my mouth water just by looking at it!

HONEY GARLIC PORK CHOPS ON THE GRILL

  • Reserve two tablespoons of the honey garlic sauce for basting.
  • Coat chops in the remaining honey garlic sauce mixture.
  • Place chops on a greased grill over medium-high heat.
  • Close the lid and cook, about 5 minutes per side, basting the pork chops 2 times while they cook.

Keep this meal on the healthier side by serving the baked pork chops with a zucchini stir fry or some cauliflower rice. My Instant Pot Loaded Mashed Cauliflower would also be grrrreat!

HOW TO MAKE AHEAD

  • Place pork chops in a large ziploc bag and add the honey garlic sauce; close the bag, rub the sauce all around, and place in the fridge for up to 8 hours.
  • When ready to make the pork chops, remove bag from the fridge, set on the counter for at least 10 minutes, then cook.

HOW TO FREEZE

  • Place pork chops in a large ziploc bag.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the pork chops, tightly seal the bag and place in the freezer.
  • When ready to make the pork chops, remove bag from the freezer the night before, place in the fridge, and defrost overnight.
